the open letter process
1. Draft
Each Open Letter has a specific topic describing a current problem in government. It will include some background information and offer specific solutions. During this period, participants can suggest solutions by writing them into the draft letter.
2. Sign
After a designated period of time, each Open Letter will enter a signing phase where American citizens can add their virtual signature to the letter, thereby agreeing to its content and message.
